Leading real estate media organization, Inman, has named @properties Christie’s International Real Estate as a finalist for “Brokerage of the Year” and “Most Innovative Marketing/Branding Campaign,” as part of its annual Inman Innovators Awards, one of the industry’s most prestigious awards programs. The winners will be unveiled on August 1 at the Inman Connect conference in Las Vegas.
Since 1998, the Inman Innovator Awards have recognized companies, individuals, and new technologies that increase productivity, efficiency, and transparency for consumers and real estate professionals. Over the years, @properties Christie’s International Real Estate has been honored numerous times, including ‘Most Innovative Brokerage’ in 2022 and Innovator of the Year (company co-founder and co-CEO Thad Wong) In 2018.
Innovation has fueled @properties’ success since its founding in 2000, and the past year is no exception. In the last 12 months, the brokerage, led by Wong and co-founder and co-CEO Mike Golden, represented some of Chicagoland’s highest-priced home sales; recruited several of Chicagoland’s top-producing agents; and expanded its pl@tform™ technology suite, adding several new cutting-edge features, including a digital buyer’s presentation.
Altogether, these innovations and initiatives propelled @properties to a top 10 ranking among all U.S. brokerage firms for annual sales volume ($22.6 billion) in 2023.
“In a cyclical industry like real estate, you’re going to have times when big changes occur. And when that happens, as it is right now, the companies that innovate are the ones that will serve clients better, serve agents better and pull ahead. As a company built on innovation, @properties Christie’s International Real Estate embraces changes and challenges. We’re excited to be recognized for this work, and we’re incredibly proud of the staff and agents that make up this forward-thinking organization,” said Wong.
In the ‘Most Innovative Marketing/Branding Campaign’ category, @properties entered its campaign, which was designed to highlight the emotional connection between the company and its local community. Dozens of Love Letters were written for the brokerage’s neighborhoods, clients, agents, and staff, and they were distributed through print ads, out-of-home advertising, external and internal websites, post cards, videos, and social media.
“Love has been a core value at @properties Christie’s International Real Estate since the firm was founded more than 20 years ago, and the Love Letters campaign is a reflection of that,” said Natasha Patla, @properties Christie’s International Real Estate’s chief marketing officer. “The campaign was incredibly authentic – from the heartfelt copy to the beautiful imagery.”
